Concealed Weapons Permits can be obtained through the Fayette County Sheriff's Department.  The applicant must first complete a concealed weapons course, and complete the concealed weapons permit application.  A $75.00 fee for background check and processing is due at the time of application. 

When the application process is complete, you will be notified via mail that you may come in to the Fayetteville office to obtain your permit.  A laminated wallet size version of your permit may also be purchased.  You may pick up your permit in person only, and only during regular office hours.
